ASE Marajó wins his first 60km endurance race

Today we travelend to the Dutch hills, Utrechtse Heuvelrug, to compete at Marajó his first 60km endurance race in Leersum. It has rained all day and the day before and the tracks were very muddy and slippery. In the first loop, the tracks were still doable and Marajó easily took the lead with an average speed of 14.25 km/h. We trotted in the cooling area, removed his saddle and immediately went to the VET-IN with a recovery of just over a minute. Heartbeat was fine, all A's on locomotion and into the rest.

Marajó started his second loop with a 15 minuts lead of the rest of the group. During the second loop we had heavy rainfall with made the tracks almost impossible as most of them were completely under water which made holes in the ground. We reduced the speed to 12.42 km/h and still managed to finish first!
